Welcome to Maple Ridge Riding Academy, located in Middleburg, a city in Northern Virginia, just a little ways from Washington D.C.

Formally an all boys boarding school, Maple Ridge educated its students with high academic expectations before sending them off to the best colleges. The school closed when a family bought the operation and built a large stable on the property, leaving the old schooling center and dorms in their place to sit ignored. Maple Ridge Academy was converted into Maple Ridge Stables, and full service horse farm from everything to riding lessons and boarding to breeding and showing. Recently, however, the stables has been put on hold as the owners decided to retire and moved away, putting Maple Ridge in the hands of their daughter.

This said daughter, Audrey Williams, had the idea of creating a establishment that would bring together both of the property's histories, patching the idea of a boarding school and riding stable into one. The final result is Maple Ridge Riding Academy, a co-ed boarding school whose main focus, besides excellent academics, is the riding of its students. The academy offers a place to boys and girls alike, from grades eight to twelve, from all around. Just like any high school cliques will form, rivals will be made, and friendships (and possibly more) will be found.
